I have loved reading since I was a toddler. Going to the library for new books was, and still is, a weekly highlight for me, although now I primarily “go to the library” from my Kindle. I would almost rather sit at my desk at work and read a good book than go out with friends for lunch.
My fascination for the written word was the impetus for a degree in English and later, a Master’s in Teaching. It was a great thrill teaching little ones to read and note just the moment that they “got it.”
Over the years I’ve published numerous articles in print and online and currently write at http://esmeowl12.hubpages.com. My first e-book has been published: Alphamania: An Alphabet Resource for Teachers and Parents. Purchase a copy now at http://smashwords.com/books/view/122048. Keep up to date on the book at http://alphabetletters.wordpress.com.
I look forward to sharing books with readers in ReaderJots. Happy reading!
